Comments from Aljoot Neijie Lichtensvon

“Leave the Micronational Assembly. BANDAPUSA DISTRICT, PÓNSOLOS | The Kingdom of Takaya’s monarch and the Republic of Stret Merdhin has faced discrimination from the Council of the Micronational Assembly.

This is an intolerable offense to the diplomatic ties of these nations to the micronations in this Assembly.

I advise every Stret Citizen to vote wisely on this matter. We shall not again tolerate the same thing that Takaya has been tolerating for its whole history.

That is all, Ratarsougur Takaía þér Strat Merða.”

Comments from Anthony I, Emperor of Saspearian

“Greetings,

I stand before you today not only as a foreign dignitary but also as an ally of Stret Merdhin.

It has come to my attention that Stret Merdhin is currently voting on a referendum on whether to remain in the Micronational Assembly or withdraw from the organization and that tensions have risen over mutes against President Ashley Penhollow and MP Myrian. Given these circumstances, I would like to offer my perspective and encourage Stret Merdhin to remain in the MA.

Saspearian has been a longtime member of the organization and first joined the MA in 2017. From what I have witnessed, there have been several recent troubles with the MA regarding behavior and formality from its member states.

I believe the MA has potential for improvement and a mission dedicated to fostering peaceful diplomatic relations, creating programs that benefit the Member States, and fulfilling justice. I acknowledge that certain Council Members, such as Jebediah Powell, have acted in a very different way from how I envision the MA.

Another point of concern that has been raised is the policy of overriding micronational laws with intermicronational statutes. I am of the view of certain limitations while reinforcing these views. However, I am open to finding solutions that can help achieve a compromise.

As you may be aware, I am currently running for Chairman of the MA, and I aim to become the new face of the organization. I am determined to lead, and I can assure you that under my administration, I will do everything I can to maintain a respectful environment and establish accountability while also allowing for democratic decisions to be made, and that is part of my vision. If elected, I will make improvements and greater reforms a reality.

I will respect the final decision made by the voters of Stret Merdhin. However, I urge you to consider the impact of the withdrawal. Leaving the MA would mean that Stret Merdhin will no longer be able to cast votes as a Delegate of the MA, and I have been working with President Ashley Penhollow to listen to her thoughts about the MA and to seek to incorporate changes.

If Stret Merdhin remains in the MA, the nation will be able to cast votes on propositions and votes that will shape the future of the MA, and I will continue to work with you to build anew. While I feel optimistic and would say that I have a good chance of winning in the upcoming Chairman Election, I recognize that a victory is not guaranteed. But even if I lose the election, I will never stop fighting for you or give up. Together, we can build a better future for the MA.”
