The Town Council shall consist of elected representatives from the community, including a mayor and council members.Composition The Llanmorfa Town Council shall be composed of seven members, including: One mayor, elected by the residents of Llanmorfa. Six council members, elected by the residents of Llanmorfa.
Section 4: Powers and Responsibilities Local Governance The Llanmorfa Town Council shall have the authority to make decisions on local matters, including urban planning, public services, and community development. The Council shall establish bylaws and regulations to promote the well-being of residents and ensure the smooth operation of municipal affairs. Public Services The Town Council shall be responsible for providing essential public services, including waste management, road maintenance, and public safety. The Council shall allocate funds and resources to ensure the efficient delivery of these services. Community Engagement The Town Council shall promote community engagement by organizing public meetings, forums, and events to gather input and feedback from residents. The Council shall encourage residents to participate in decision-making processes and contribute to the development of the town.
Section 5: Financial Support Budget Allocation The national government shall allocate funding to support the initial establishment and operation of the Llanmorfa Town Council. The Town Council shall be responsible for managing its budget and ensuring the responsible use of funds. Grants and Assistance The Town Council shall seek grants and financial assistance from national and regional authorities to support community projects and initiatives. Collaboration with local businesses and organizations shall be encouraged to enhance the town’s development.
