Section 1: Purpose
The purpose of this Act is to ensure the protection, well-being, and rights of service animals and their handlers in the regions of Stret Merdhin and Corsa. Service animals provide essential assistance to individuals with disabilities, and it is the responsibility of society to safeguard their health and rights.
Section 2: Definitions
For the purposes of this Act:
- “Service animal” means any dog or other animal trained to perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability.
- “Handler” means an individual with a disability who uses a service animal.
- “Public accommodation” includes but is not limited to restaurants, hotels, stores, and public transportation.
Section 3: Rights and Protections
- Access to Public Spaces: Service animals shall be allowed to accompany their handlers in all areas of public accommodation within Stret Merdhin and Corsa, including but not limited to restaurants, hotels, stores, and public transportation.
- Housing: Service animals are allowed to live with their handlers in all types of housing within Stret Merdhin and Corsa, regardless of any “no pets” policies. Housing providers must make reasonable accommodations to ensure that handlers and their service animals have suitable living conditions.
- Workplace: Employers in Stret Merdhin and Corsa must make reasonable accommodations to allow service animals in the workplace, ensuring that handlers can perform their job duties effectively.
- Education: Service animals must be permitted to accompany their handlers in educational institutions within Stret Merdhin and Corsa, including schools, colleges, and universities.
Section 4: Responsibilities of Handlers
- Handlers must ensure that their service animals are properly trained and under control at all times.
- Handlers are responsible for the health and well-being of their service animals, including regular veterinary care and proper nutrition.
- Handlers must clean up after their service animals in public spaces and ensure that their animals do not cause any damage or disturbances.

Violations of this Act may result in fines, community service, or other penalties as deemed appropriate by the authorities in Stret Merdhin and Corsa. Penalties may include, but are not limited to, monetary fines, mandatory training for offenders, and other corrective actions to ensure compliance with the Act.

The provisions of this Act shall come into effect immediately upon passage. Local authorities in Stret Merdhin and Corsa shall be responsible for enforcing the Act and ensuring that the rights and protections outlined herein are upheld.
