Takayann Official Languages Bill Dropped

LIVE: President Hollfeild has ordered the Takayann Official Languages Bill to be dropped

“Today, the Takayann Official Languages Bill was officially set aside. This decision was made in an effort to prioritize our limited resources on supporting and enhancing services for widely spoken, practical languages, such as English. By focusing on languages that are actively used and have a broad reach, we aim to ensure our efforts are directed where they have the greatest impact. This shift will allow us to improve the efficiency and inclusivity of our services, fostering better communication and connection across our communities.” – President Hollfeild

The bill is set to be dropped on the 10th April 2025, after the bill is dropped government sources will no longer be permitted to publish content in Takyann
